this is one of my most prized poems....
it talk bout the negative face of the world we live in.....and how it is going to have an adverse affect on the future generations.....
if the necessary steps are not taken to set things right
Oh!! what a blow
my mind right now does show
engulfed in a cloud of confusion
which blocks clear vision
it damages my precision
and out goes my concentration
conflict is all i can see
i find nowhere else to be
what can i do now??
other than furrow my brow
as disturbance
my present experience
obstructs my path to bliss
this i have noticed
far far away from happiness
yet it continues to grow hopeless
the atmosphere speaks tragedy
terror surrounds me
how i wish i could flee!!
from a world with no glee
with just pure misery
where no power will agree
willing to compromise on safety
even after listening to their people plead
there is nobody to trust
what a world so full of lust!!
politicians filled with lied
while their subjects before them cry
but do they even care whether its just or unfair
nay! hope is rare
as corruption just fills the air
all the morals gone down the drain
now all that pours is acid rain
technology now - a boon or bane
or just driving us insane
to a world with no food or grain
what is there left to gain
all this is just a consequential chain
effects of those who've been inhumane
desire to grow
has caused us this blow
desire to rule
has shown us how cruel
we can get when we bicker
proves our intentions can easily flicker
all this has occurred, because of figures
who stand tall like Adolf Hitler
imagine our world in harmony
where exists no fights for wealth and money
where equality rules
and racism is for fools
and crimson the colour of flowers
not of nasty scars and bloody showers
a world living up to its creation
a world of nothing but perfection
peace?!?! is not a word
we prefer using a sword
to fight an bring about war an destruction
a catalyst to our species' extinction
but who do we owe our explanation
to none but ourselves and the nation
as we want something this grotesque
we might as well complete our conquest
so act now, do not be late
to protect our world from such a fate
to avoid our doom
and to resume
our actual fight
for a good cause and the right
to a progressive flight
to a future that is ensured bright
with no competition for might!!
