Pretty Dandy Candy

A billowing wind carried away
A spirit that was once a soul
A soul with love and laughter
A soul with all the beautiful flaws
Of life.

An encased essence
Willed actions?
On route to Fulfillment.

Deceived are we
By the appearance
Of a Harlot by name Choisir
Dangling before us
A string of pretty, dandy, candies.
We can pick any one?
We can pick out two or three!?
From This string of candies.
Oh! what glee!

All the while
She whispers sweet,
Nothings.

Wrapped around delicate fingers
Dancing puppets
Suspended liberally
Flailing about in
Choreographed random tangents
Swaying to the music
Of an Orchestrated breeze.

Only to have
In Satirical Shackles
Our most fatal illusion.

Time.
